ESP8266 Experiment – Plant Monitor
The ESP8266 can be integrated with sensors and other application-specific devices through its GPIOs, with built-in TCP/IP networking software, and microcontroller capability.
This is a smart watering system experiment, it will detect the current temperature and humidity of the environment and show them on the SunFounder Controller. When you press the pump button on the APP, it will replenish water for the plants. When it reaches a certain position (detected by the water level sensor), it will stop pumping automatically.

4-digit 7-segment display
The 4-digit 7-segment display works independently. It uses the principle of human visual persistence to quickly display the characters of each 7-segment in a loop to form continuous strings.
Electronic Piano
In this project, we use the button widget on the SunFounder Controller as the piano keys and connect a passive Buzzer to the Pico to simulate an electronic piano.
Reversing Aid
In this project, we will use LED, Buzzer, and Ultrasonic Sensors to make a Parking Assist System. We can put it on the remote control vehicle to simulate the actual process of reversing the car into the garage.
Digital Bubble Level
A bubble Level is an instrument designed to indicate whether a surface is horizontal or vertical. Different types of spirit levels may be used by carpenters, bricklayers, other building trades workers, surveyors, and in some photographic work. We make a digital bubble level with MPU6050 and 8×8 LED Matrix. When you deflect the MPU6050, the bubble on the LED Matrix will also be deflected.
Room Temperture Meter
We made an indoor thermometer with thermistor and LCD1602 Module. The thermal resistance sensing ambient temperature change, through the formula conversion to the Celsius temperature display on the I2C LCD1602 Module.
RFID Music Player
We can write a certain amount of information (up to 48 letters) to the card (or key) through the MFRC522 module, which can be not only the key and identity information but also the music score.
