While a case will hide all of the signs of use, the phone is not perfect. There is a scuff on the corner where the rear camera is, a couple of very tiny nicks on the lower left corner, several very fine scratches on the alkaleido side of the phone as well as on the display, and a shallow tiny dent about an inch below the “X” of the engraved “XPERIA” on the back. You can just barely feel the dent if you rub your finger firmly on it. The fine scratches and dent can only be seen under very bright light, otherwise you won’t notice them unless you’re looking for them. I was able to capture them on the back, but not the screen. The pics make the flaws look far worse than they actually are. The phone is the UK version, so it has the UK power adapter.
