MSI’s TRI FROZR 3 heat solution is designed for excellent cooling efficiency with minimal noise: 3 x Torx 5.0 fan base plate made of copper (nickel-plated), 6 GPU core pipes, airflow control heatsink with wave-curved 2.0 cooling fins

Torx Fan 5.0

TORX FAN 5.0 technology uses interconnected triple fan blades that reduce speed requirements, maintain high air pressure in the heatsink and improve airflow (+23% compared to axial fans).

Nickel plated copper base plate

A solid, nickel-plated copper base plate provides excellent thermal conductivity for a range of heat pipes.

Core Pipes

The heat-dispersing core pipes are precision machined in the square profile to ensure maximum contact surface along the GPU, and run along the entire heat sink length for optimal cooling.

Airflow Control Heatsink

Airflow Control provides a balance between highly efficient cooling and minimal noise with a multi-layer design: Wave-shaped curved 2.0 edges improve local airflow dynamics. Improved deflectors create micro-turbulence for faster cooling

Zero Frozr (0 RPM Mode)

ZERO FROZR is the calm before the storm with the 0 rotary zal mode when temperatures are relatively low. This suppresses any fan noise when using low-demand graphics. The GPU fan cooling is automatically activated when gaming with high demands on the system gets hot.

Aluminium back plate

A robust aluminum backplate reinforces the entire length of the graphics card. Synchronizes lighting with other ARGB compatible devices with MSI Center software, bringing system lighting to a whole new level with customizable colors and effects.
