With the same pin layout and AZ-MEGA2560-Board chipset, you don’t have to make any code adjustments and can access the full range of shields compatible with the original Mega.
The AZ-MEGA2560-Board can be operated directly on the PC or optionally via an external voltage source with 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug (min. 6V, max. 20V; 7-12V are recommended).
A CH340G converter takes over the communication with the PC via USB.
